JOIN A WORKING COMMITTEE

The plan is taking shape. Now we need people to help make it happen.

Saving Katy Station will take more than raising money. We need to find a new location, plan the move, preserve the building's history, raise funds, and determine its future use.

We're forming five working committees to help turn this plan into reality. These are hands-on teams that will research options, develop plans, build partnerships, and help move the project forward.

You don't have to be an expert. We need people with ideas, experience, connections, and a willingness to help.

WHERE CAN YOU HELP?

SITE, RELOCATION & BUILDING

Help identify possible locations, work with architects, engineers and building movers, obtain estimates, and plan the relocation and restoration of Katy Station.

COMMUNITY VISION & FUTURE USE

Help gather community ideas, explore possible uses for the building, and connect with organizations and potential partners.

HISTORIC PRESERVATION

Help research Katy Station's history, locate photographs and architectural plans, document historic features, and work with preservation professionals.

FUNDRAISING

Help identify donors, sponsors and grants, organize fundraising activities, and develop the financial support needed to save Katy Station.

OUTREACH & COMMUNICATIONS

Help with newsletters, the website, social media, community events, publicity, and keeping volunteers informed.
